The Sports Service organizes the \u201cStrength Workshop\u201d, taught by instructors Guillermo Maldonado de Diego, Senior Technician in Teaching and Socio-sports Activities and student of the Degree in Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport, and Fabio Fajardo Vera, Senior Technician in Physical Conditioning.<\/p>\n

The workshop will take place in the fitness and cardio room of the ULL Sports Service facilities on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be both theoretical and practical, explaining the benefits of strength training and providing practical guidance for the correct execution of the most commonly used basic exercises in the fitness and cardio room, which are transferable to daily life and sports. The fundamental principles of training methodology (individualization, progression, etc.) will be reinforced, and any questions will be answered.<\/p>\n

Registered participants will bring comfortable, breathable sportswear and a towel.<\/p>\n

The established price is \u20ac3 for students, \u20ac4 for administrative and service staff and teaching and research staff, and \u20ac5 for people associated with ALUMNI-ULL.<\/p>\n

Registration and payment<\/a>Limited places available, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes on March 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM or until all places are filled. The workshop name in the online application is \u201cStrength Workshop. March 7. 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM\u201d.<\/p>\n

Those who do not get a place can register on the waiting list (section \u201cregistration on the waiting list for classes\u201d), to be kept in mind in case of cancellations, and if it is feasible to hold a second workshop on another date and time.<\/p>\n
