The Cultural Classroom of Gardening, Biodiversity and Permaculture organizes this intensive workshop which will be held in person on April 20, 23, 27 and 30, 2026, in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
The aim of this activity is to introduce participants to botanical illustration in the scientific field, taking as a starting point the Canary Island flora present in the gardens of the ULL Central Building.<\/p>\n
Since scientific illustration is necessarily an interdisciplinary field, the course is aimed at audiences from both the Fine Arts and Biology fields, with basic drawing skills.<\/p>\n
PRE-REGISTRATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n Scientific illustration is a specialization within the field of drawing, so participation in this course requires prior knowledge. To demonstrate this knowledge, participants are asked to submit, along with their pre-registration form (required information: name, surname, ID number, and email address), a pencil sketch of a botanical illustration to the following email address: fborago@ull.es<\/a> with Deadline: April 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The order of pre-registration will prevail according to the order of arrival, provided that the sketches demonstrate the handling of basic drawing skills.<\/p>\n Taught by: Sergio Hern\u00e1ndez Bello.
