The Faculty of Education at the University of La Laguna will host the Momentum conference on June 8th and 9th, 2026: Recovering the pedagogical impulse. Rethinking the common, a space for reflection and pedagogical dialogue promoted by the ULL Social Innovation Laboratory (LabINS ULL) and the Critical Pedagogy research group (PEDACRI).
\nThe conference will feature the participation of renowned Argentine educator and writer Dr. Carlos Skliar, one of the most important voices in contemporary educational thought in the Ibero-American sphere.<\/p>\n
In a context marked by acceleration, uncertainty, and the increasing technologization of educational discourse, Momentum proposes reclaiming pedagogy as an ethical, democratic, and public experience. The event arises from the desire to raise fundamental questions about the meaning of education today, the role of schools in contemporary democracies, and the need to rethink the educational relationship beyond purely technical or instrumental approaches.<\/p>\n
