The workshop «"Small wineries, great wines"» It is part of the programming of the University Extension Courses of the “Adeje Summer University 2026”, and will be held in the municipality of Adeje on July 9.

Wine is landscape, memory, and territory. This workshop offers a hands-on immersion into the world of small Canarian wineries through a unique sensory experience.

For four hours, participants will discover how some of the archipelago's most unique wines are born and expressed, working directly on tasting, organoleptic analysis, and wine interpretation from a practical and participatory perspective.

The event will feature the presence and wines of Bodegas El Sitio and Altos de Chipude, two projects that represent the authenticity, innovation and value of small-scale production in the Canary Islands.

The rise of wine tourism in the Canary Islands demonstrates the growing interest in experiencing wine firsthand and connecting it to the land. This workshop offers precisely that opportunity: to learn, taste, and understand the cultural and gastronomic value of the archipelago's small wineries.

A proposal to enjoy wine with all the senses and to get closer to projects that turn small productions into great wines.

The workshop is aimed at wine enthusiasts as well as professionals in the tourism, gastronomy or agri-food sectors interested in learning more about the wine culture of the Canary Islands.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE: The University of La Laguna, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and University Extension, will issue a certificate of attendance to all those who participate, after prior registration in the activity.
