{"id":55353,"date":"2026-06-23T10:12:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T10:12:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/portal\/agenda\/evento\/curso-de-mediacion-intercultural-romipen-sansofe\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T10:12:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T10:12:08","slug":"curso-de-mediacion-intercultural-romipen-sansofe","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/portal\/agenda\/en\/evento\/curso-de-mediacion-intercultural-romipen-sansofe\/","title":{"rendered":"Intercultural Mediation Course: Romipen-Sansofe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He <em>Intercultural Mediation Course: Romipen-Sansofe<\/em> It will be held in person between October 6 and November 20, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Its general objective is to promote university extension training that fosters knowledge, recognition and appreciation of the Gypsy-Canarian culture and interculturality, in order to strengthen the empowerment of the Gypsy-Canarian people and improve the cultural skills of professionals and public agents, thus contributing to a fairer, more inclusive and stereotype-free coexistence in the archipelago.<\/p>\n<p>This training is primarily aimed at the university community (students, teaching and research staff, and technical management staff), as well as the following profiles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roma population residing in the Canary Islands: With special attention to young people and people interested in strengthening their cultural identity, leadership and community participation.<\/li>\n<li>Professionals, technicians and public agents: Especially those who work in key areas for inclusion:\n<ul>\n<li>Educational.<\/li>\n<li>Social.<\/li>\n<li>Sanitary.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Civil society: Anyone interested in deepening their understanding of interculturality, social dialogue and harmonious coexistence in the archipelago.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Academic direction:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antonio F. Rodr\u00edguez Hern\u00e1ndez. Full Professor, Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology, University of La Laguna.<\/li>\n<li>Jos\u00e9 Carmona Santiago. PhD from the University of La Laguna. Venia Docendi in the Department of Communication Sciences and Social Work (ULL).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"tribe-events-single-event-description tribe-events-content\">\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE AND COMPETENCE:<\/strong>\u00a0The University of La Laguna, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and University Extension, will issue a certificate of attendance to all participants who register for the activity.
