The LGBTIQA+ Diversity Cultural Center at the University of La Laguna is hosting a virtual meeting this Saturday, October 10th, in observance of World Mental Health Day. The meeting will address the impact of hate speech on the mental health of trans people from a transfeminist perspective. It is being organized as a protest against the participation of individuals (particularly Luc\u00eda Etxebarr\u00eda) who hold a distinctly trans-exclusionary viewpoint in academic activities within the university. The virtual meeting will feature trans people speaking from their own experiences, as well as specialists who have addressed the impact of hate speech on the mental health of trans people from an academic standpoint.<\/p>\n
