Esto impide, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, hacer un correcto seguimiento de medidas de pol\u00edticas, correlacionarlas con otras variables de mayor periodicidad, y mucho menos permite hacer estudios y evaluaciones a nivel mucho m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o, como municipios o comunidades. Las nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de uso de datos masivos, combin\u00e1ndolas con informaci\u00f3n de registros administrativos, est\u00e1n comenzando a ser usadas para evaluar pol\u00edticas sociales en localidades peque\u00f1as y concretas, al mismo tiempo que para hacer seguimiento de la pobreza en pa\u00edses en v\u00edas de desarrollo.
