Actualmente es profesor titular del Departamento de Econom\u00eda, Contabilidad y Finanzas. Ha ocupado diversos puestos de gesti\u00f3n dentro del \u00e1mbito universitario y desde el 2016 es directora de la C\u00e1tedra Fundaci\u00f3n DISA de J\u00f3venes Emprendedores de la Universidad de La Laguna. Ha participado y dirigido varios proyectos de innovaci\u00f3n docente en la Universidad de La Laguna vinculados con el fomento de la actitud emprendedora entre el alumnado desde el curso 2010\/2011 hasta la actualidad, alguno de los cu\u00e1les han recibido premios y reconocimientos. Es directora del Grupo de Innovaci\u00f3n Educativa \u201cInnovaci\u00f3n y Emprendimiento\u201d de la Universidad de La Laguna, pertenece al Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n Empresa y Sociedad de la Universidad de La Laguna desde septiembre de 2010 y es directora del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n Gesti\u00f3n Econom\u00eda, Contable y Financiera del agua y pertenece al Instituto Universitario de la Empresa desde el 2018. Ha participado en diversos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y estuvo realizando dos estancias en la Universidad Gaston Berger, en la ciudad de Saint Louis (Senegal) en 2009 y 2010. Tiene un sexenio de investigaci\u00f3n reconocido en 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha centrado su investigaci\u00f3n en dos grandes en l\u00edneas de trabajo, por un lado, la que se refiere a aspectos relacionados con el fomento de la empleabilidad y el emprendimiento y, por otro lado, una l\u00ednea de trabajo m\u00e1s espec\u00edfica centrada en el an\u00e1lisis de la gesti\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica del agua.
