En su tesis doctoral estudi\u00f3 \u201cLa integraci\u00f3n de la imagen serigr\u00e1fica como recurso pl\u00e1stico en la cer\u00e1mica escult\u00f3rica\u201d. Fue becada por el Proyecto Erasmus para cursar estudios en el Instituto Superior de Amberes, B\u00e9lgica, en 1989 y 1992. En 2002 particip\u00f3 en los intercambios docentes con la Metropolitan University de Manchester, Inglaterra. Es especialista en Escultura, Cer\u00e1mica, Grabado y T\u00e9cnicas de Fundici\u00f3n. En la actualidad imparte docencia en el Grado de Bellas Artes y en el Grado Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales de la ULL, donde es Profesora Titular desde 1997.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha complementado su formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica con actividades realizadas por figuras de reconocido prestigio del campo de las Artes Pl\u00e1sticas, como: 1989 Eduardo Andaluz, Gran Canaria. 1990 Sara Jim\u00e9nez Carrami\u00f1a, Tenerife. 1991 Laboratorio de Cer\u00e1mica en la Fabrica de Sargadelos, Lugo.\u00a0 1992 David Reid, Tenerife.\u00a0 Narciso Echevarr\u00eda, Gerona. 1993 Manuel K\u00e9ller Soria, Madrid. 1994 Jaume Plensa, Tenerife. 1995 Ram\u00f3n Pinto, Gij\u00f3n. 1996 Pavel Holmoka, Real F\u00e1brica de Cristal de Segovia. 1997\u00a0 \u00c1ngeles Marco, Valencia. 1998 Manuel Betancourt, Tenerife. 2001 MADOLA, Tenerife. 2006 Salom\u00f3n Dahaj, Tenerife. 2016 Soledad D\u00edaz Mart\u00ednez, Tenerife.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En su trayectoria como creadora, recibi\u00f3 el 1\u00baPremio de Escultura de Cer\u00e1mica Creativa en 2016, S\/C de Tenerife. Adem\u00e1s, ha realizado exposiciones tanto de car\u00e1cter individual como colectivas, dentro del panorama nacional e internacional, destacando su \u00faltima individual en 2019 \u201cEn_Seres\u201d en la Sala MAC de S\/C de Tenerife; su participaci\u00f3n en 2007 en la exposici\u00f3n colectiva \u201cCorpo e o traje\u201d realizada en el Museo Nacional del Traje en Lisboa, Portugal; o su participaci\u00f3n en 2006 en Dak,Art, en Senegal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Investigadora del grupo \u201cT\u00e9cnicas y Procedimientos Escult\u00f3ricos\u201d desde 1990.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Su actividad cient\u00edfica e investigadora, est\u00e1 avalada por su participaci\u00f3n en proyectos I+D del MEC, como fue el proyecto \u201cAlternativas al descere en la fundicio\u0301n de cascarilla cera\u0301mica (Ceramic Shell Casting): Te\u0301cnica por microondas\u201d (Fase I en 2016 y fase II en 2019, donde trabaj\u00f3 como investigadora principal). Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 con el grupo multidisciplinar en el proyecto titulado \u201cLa regeneracio\u0301n urbana del centro histo\u0301rico de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Estudio y Propuesta: La arquitectura y el color en las rutas turi\u0301sticas\u201d. Ambos proyectos han dado lugar a art\u00edculos, publicaciones y contribuciones en congresos, destacando en 2018 la participaci\u00f3n en el congreso <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">XARXES-INNOVAESTIC \/ REDES INNOVAESTIC<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">con el trabajo \u201cImplementaci\u00f3n de metodologi\u0301as experimentales de investigacio\u0301n del proceso de descere por microondas\u00a0en los contenidos docentes de la fundicio\u0301n arti\u0301stica en las facultades de BBAA\u201d y en 2020 la publicaci\u00f3n del art\u00edculo cient\u00edfico titulado \u201cLas ceras utilizadas en la microfusio\u0301n, tras su calentamiento por microondas: Te\u0301cnica de Cascarilla Cera\u0301mica\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bb<strong>Departamento<\/strong>\u00bb font_container=\u00bbtag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23535968&#8243;
