En 2016 fue beneficiaria de la beca postdoctoral Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Global, y realiz\u00f3 una estancia de dos a\u00f1os en el Long-Term Ecology Laboratory, Landcare Research New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Colabora en otras l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n del grupo (biogeograf\u00eda insular, din\u00e1mica de ecosistemas insulares, impacto humano, efecto del fuego y la herbivor\u00eda sobre ecosistemas insulares, restauraci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica, captura y huella de carbono). Resultado de su investigaci\u00f3n son 52 art\u00edculos de impacto, 2 libros, 20 cap\u00edtulos de libro, 5 art\u00edculos de divulgaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s de 50 contribuciones a congresos y la participaci\u00f3n como investigadora en proyectos competitivos nacionales (7) e internacionales (4) y convenios con las administraciones p\u00fablicas (6). En la actualidad es co-investigadora principal de dos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n sobre cambio clim\u00e1tico y captura de carbono financiados por el Gobierno de Canarias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Es profesora ayudante doctora del \u00e1rea de Ecolog\u00eda del Departamento de Bot\u00e1nica, Ecolog\u00eda y Fisiolog\u00eda Vegetal de la ULL, donde imparte docencia en el Grado en Biolog\u00eda, Grado en Ingenier\u00eda Civil, Master en Biodiversidad Terrestre y Conservaci\u00f3n en Islas, y Master en Biolog\u00eda Marina, Biodiversidad y Conservaci\u00f3n.
