Un fluido no newtoniano es aquel fluido cuya viscosidad var\u00eda. En reposo se comporta como un fluido, pero aumenta su viscosidad cuando se le somete a fuerzas de estr\u00e9s. Por ejemplo, cuando se golpea un fluido no newtoniano, la fuerza entrante hace que los \u00e1tomos de la mezcla se reorganicen y aumenten su viscosidad. Pudiendo llegar a comportarse, temporalmente, como un s\u00f3lido. A mayor fuerza aplicada mayor viscosidad. Cuando mezclamos la maicena con el agua estamos creando un fluido no newtoniano, es decir, que no tiene una viscosidad definida.
