Desde 2010, es Profesora Titular (ULL). Es miembro del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n en Criptolog\u00eda de la ULL (CryptULL, https:\/\/cryptull.webs.ull.es). En su doctorado desarroll\u00f3 protocolos criptogr\u00e1ficos avanzados como las Pruebas de Conocimiento Cero, aplic\u00e1ndolas a la resoluci\u00f3n del problema de identificaci\u00f3n de usuarios. Realiz\u00f3 dos estancias postdoctorales de investigaci\u00f3n, la primera en el Departamento de Tratamiento de la Informaci\u00f3n y Criptograf\u00eda del CSIC y la segunda en el centro de computaci\u00f3n de alto rendimiento Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre y Heriott-Watt University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha obtenido resultados significativos en la definici\u00f3n de protocolos para la gesti\u00f3n de claves en entornos espec\u00edficos como redes m\u00f3viles ad hoc y redes vehiculares. Adem\u00e1s, ha trabajado en el dise\u00f1o de herramientas criptogr\u00e1ficas para la gesti\u00f3n segura de datos de pacientes en escenarios hospitalarios y de emergencias, utilizando el paradigma de la Criptograf\u00eda Basada en la Identidad y Blockchain. Los resultados en esta \u00e1rea han dado lugar a una tesis doctoral. Actualmente, dirige una tesis centrada en la definici\u00f3n de soluciones seguras en sistemas de apoyo a la salud y el bienestar de las personas. Tambi\u00e9n ha obtenido resultados relacionados con soluciones IoT que permiten la monitorizaci\u00f3n integral y segura de los recursos existentes en entornos inteligentes, dirigiendo actualmente otra tesis en este \u00e1mbito.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Durante su trayectoria investigadora, ha participado en m\u00e1s de una veintena de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n. Los proyectos m\u00e1s recientes se centran en proponer avances en ciberseguridad en el entorno del transporte inteligente y en el de los servicios de comunicaciones m\u00f3viles. Participa activamente en convenios de colaboraci\u00f3n con empresas y autora de m\u00faltiples publicaciones en revistas cient\u00edficas indexadas. Es coautora de una patente relacionada con el control de veh\u00edculos no tripulados. En cuanto al desempe\u00f1o de cargos directivos, ha sido Directora del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Inform\u00e1tica y de Sistemas durante tres a\u00f1os (2018-2021), Vicedecana de la Facultad de Matem\u00e1ticas de la ULL (2007-2010) y coordinadora de movilidad Erasmus (2013-2017).
