En 1981 fue Profesor Asociado en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela y desde 1982, Catedr\u00e1tico de Psicolog\u00eda en la ULL impartiendo cursos de grado y posgrado en Psicolog\u00eda del Lenguaje, Cognici\u00f3n Corp\u00f3rea y Neurociencia del lenguaje. Adem\u00e1s, fue investigador visitante en varias universidades y centros de investigaci\u00f3n del mundo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha sido director de 15 tesis doctorales, fundador y director durante m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os de la revista <em>Cognitiva<\/em>. Adem\u00e1s, presidi\u00f3 la <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Psicolog\u00eda Experimental<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (SEPEX), y fue miembro del comit\u00e9 cient\u00edfico de la <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sociedad de Texto y Discurso<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">STD<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) y de la <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sociedad Europea de Psicolog\u00eda Cognitiva<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> habiendo dirigido 12 proyectos competitivos.
