Obtuvo el doctorado en 2017 por la ULL con la tesis titulada \u00abT\u00e9cnica de descere por microondas: identificaci\u00f3n, cuantificaci\u00f3n y valoraci\u00f3n de los susceptores en el estuco de cascarilla cer\u00e1mica en la fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">P\u00e9rez dedica su trabajo a la realizaci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n de nuevos procedimientos, materiales y t\u00e9cnicas escult\u00f3ricas, generando nuevas formas de repensar el arte y el uso de nuevos m\u00e9todos de producci\u00f3n art\u00edstica con el objetivo de sistematizar y producir obras que est\u00e9n al mismo ritmo que la sociedad actual. Los resultados de sus investigaciones se aplican en las propuestas art\u00edsticas que les encargan desde centros, empresas, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">De esta forma, P\u00e9rez centra su actividad investigadora en nuevas alternativas en la fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica, siendo doctora en la materia y coordinadora del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abT\u00e9cnicas, procedimientos y discursos escult\u00f3ricos contempor\u00e1neos\u00bb, que surge a ra\u00edz de las actividades del Aula de Fundici\u00f3n Art\u00edstica de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la ULL, cuyo principal impulsor fue el profesor jubilado de Escultura de la ULL, Juan Carlos Albaladejo, quien introdujo a P\u00e9rez en la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">P\u00e9rez investiga la filosof\u00eda que se sigue en un taller colectivo de fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica e involucra a personas interesadas en la investigaci\u00f3n, como doctorandos y alumnado egresado o no.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Participa en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n financiados por I+D+i, tales como alternativas al descere en la fundici\u00f3n de cascarilla cer\u00e1mica, fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica de objetos dise\u00f1ados por ordenador mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n del \u00e1cido polil\u00e1ctico como sustitutivo del modelado a la cera perdida y alternativas al descere en la fundici\u00f3n de cascarilla cer\u00e1mica (t\u00e9cnica por microondas).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">P\u00e9rez dirige varias tesis relacionadas con la inclusi\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda microondas y 3D en los procesos de fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Tambi\u00e9n pertenece el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abDise\u00f1o y fabricaci\u00f3n digital\u00bb, realiza talleres, seminarios de divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica e imparte cursos de especializaci\u00f3n en producci\u00f3n de escultura en bronce en diferentes facultades y centros art\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">P\u00e9rez ejerce como escultora en la actividad profesional, participando en exposiciones y proyectos art\u00edsticos de inter\u00e9s escult\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bb<strong>Departamento<\/strong>\u00bb font_container=\u00bbtag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23535968&#8243;
