Miembro del Instituto Universitario de Neurociencia (IUNE) desde sus inicios y del Instituto Universitario de Estudios de las Mujeres (IUEM).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Es<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> licenciada en Psicolog\u00eda y obtuvo su <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">doctorado en Ciencias de la Educaci\u00f3n en la ULL sobre el tema de la salud mental en la escuela, elaborando un programa formativo para el profesorado de la etapa de infantil y primaria, dirigido a prevenir los problemas de salud mental en esta etapa educativa.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> En su tesis de licenciatura abordaba la situaci\u00f3n de las ense\u00f1anzas de Formaci\u00f3n Profesional en la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha impartido <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">conferencias, seminarios y cursos en centros de formaci\u00f3n del profesorado y en universidades tanto espa\u00f1olas como en extranjeras (Trento, Venecia, Lisboa, Guanajuato\u2026).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha sido miembro de la Agencia Vasca de Evaluaci\u00f3n y Acreditaci\u00f3n del Profesorado y evaluadora de proyectos de I+D+i para diversas agencias auton\u00f3micas, as\u00ed como <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">evaluadora de la Agencia Estatal de Investigaci\u00f3n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Asimismo,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> es miembro del comit\u00e9 cient\u00edfico de varias revistas. Tambi\u00e9n realiza labores de evaluaci\u00f3n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> de art\u00edculos de revistas con alto \u00edndice de impacto tales como: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Comunicar, Revista de Educaci\u00f3n, International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance, Asia Pacific Journal of Education, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">entre otras<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha sido investigadora principal de proyectos financiados con fondos p\u00fablicos tanto regionales como europeos y es la responsable del <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Orientaci\u00f3n Educativa y Sociolaboral <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(GIOES, grupo consolidado) en el que desarrolla su actividad investigadora.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha publicado m\u00e1s de 140 trabajos entre libros, cap\u00edtulos de libros y art\u00edculos. Algunas de sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n son: la salud mental en la escuela, el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de programas de orientaci\u00f3n educativa, educaci\u00f3n y g\u00e9nero, educaci\u00f3n para la ciudadan\u00eda europea, transici\u00f3n al mercado laboral, proyectos de vida y toma de decisiones de los j\u00f3venes, y educaci\u00f3n en valores. Su investigaci\u00f3n \u00ab<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La educaci\u00f3n y transici\u00f3n sociolaboral de los j\u00f3venes: una propuesta de actuaci\u00f3n para el segundo ciclo de la ESO\u00bb<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> fue premiado en los <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Premios Nacionales de Investigaci\u00f3n Educativa 2004<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, otorgado por el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y Ciencia (MEC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha dirigido cuatro ediciones del m\u00e1ster de la ULL \u00abEducar y Orientar para la Transici\u00f3n Sociolaboral\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha sido profesora invitada en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid durante un curso acad\u00e9mico (1993-1994) y ha realizado estancias en la Universidad de Barcelona y en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Ha realizado intercambio de l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n con la Universidad de Queen Mary (Reino Unido) y la Universidad de Limerick (Irlanda), entre otras.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha impartido cursos de doctorado en la Universidad para la Paz (Costa Rica) y en la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Yucat\u00e1n (M\u00e9xico).
