Actualmente colabora en el estudio de la herpetofauna cuaternaria de Canarias, centrado en los reptiles del g\u00e9nero <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gallotia<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Su investigaci\u00f3n se enfoca en comprender la historia evolutiva de los dinosaurios ornit\u00f3podos durante el Cret\u00e1cico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En 2013 obtuvo una beca posdoctoral de dos a\u00f1os otorgada por el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas (CONICET), lo que le permiti\u00f3 integrarse al Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n en Paleobiolog\u00eda y Geolog\u00eda (IIPG-CONICET-UNRN) en General Roca, R\u00edo Negro, Argentina. Durante este per\u00edodo, tambi\u00e9n fue profesora en la licenciatura en Paleontolog\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de R\u00edo Negro, donde imparti\u00f3 clases durante siete a\u00f1os (2013-2020). En 2015 se incorpor\u00f3 al CONICET como investigadora, cargo que desempe\u00f1\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n durante siete a\u00f1os (2013-2020). En este tiempo, Cruzado ampli\u00f3 sus investigaciones, que inicialmente se centraban en un peque\u00f1o grupo de ornit\u00f3podos ib\u00e9ricos, los hadros\u00e1uridos, para abarcar todo el grupo de los ornit\u00f3podos, con un especial inter\u00e9s en la fauna de Am\u00e9rica del Sur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Desde septiembre de 2020, es Profesora Ayudante Doctora en el \u00e1rea de Paleontolog\u00eda en el Departamento de Biolog\u00eda Animal, Edafolog\u00eda y Geolog\u00eda de la ULL. Imparte asignaturas en los grados de Biolog\u00eda y Ciencias Ambientales, as\u00ed como en el M\u00e1ster Universitario en Biodiversidad Terrestre y Conservaci\u00f3n en Islas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Es directora de tres tesis doctorales. Dos en Argentina (Javier Gonz\u00e1lez Dionis y Paul-Emile Dieudonn\u00e9, Universidad Nacional de R\u00edo Negro (UNRN)) y una en Chile (Jhonatan Andr\u00e9s Alarc\u00f3n Mu\u00f1oz, Universidad de Chile). Las tesis desarrollan varias l\u00edneas de trabajos sobre la paleobiolog\u00eda y distribuci\u00f3n paleobiogeogr\u00e1fica del <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Clado Ornithopoda<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Dinosauria) en Am\u00e9rica del Sur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En Canarias, forma parte del equipo liderado por la investigadora Carolina Castillo, apoyando su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la fauna y flora, tanto f\u00f3sil como actual, del archipi\u00e9lago. Junto a ella, trabaja en la formaci\u00f3n de un equipo multidisciplinar que aborda diversas problem\u00e1ticas relacionadas con la conservaci\u00f3n de especies en las islas. Adem\u00e1s, colabora en el desarrollo de una base de datos destinada a generar recursos socioculturales y sociotur\u00edsticos, contribuyendo as\u00ed al impulso de la econom\u00eda canaria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En el \u00e1mbito de la financiaci\u00f3n, ha dirigido cuatro proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n: uno financiado por la ULL y el Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades de Espa\u00f1a; otro por la Agencia de Promoci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica y T\u00e9cnica de Argentina (APCyT); y dos por la Universidad Nacional de R\u00edo Negro (UNRN). Adem\u00e1s, ha liderado cuatro proyectos de trabajo de campo financiados por la Diputaci\u00f3n General de Arag\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ha participado tambi\u00e9n en dos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n financiados por la APCyT y en otros dos respaldados por la UNRN. A lo largo de su carrera, ha recibido tres becas internacionales de investigaci\u00f3n: la beca Sepkoski 2017 de la Paleontological Society (Estados Unidos), la Beca 2017 para J\u00f3venes Investigadores de la Asociaci\u00f3n Paleontol\u00f3gica Argentina (APA), y el Premio Sylvester-Bradley 2018 de The Palaeontological Association (Reino Unido).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Desde 2020, forma parte del comit\u00e9 editorial de las revistas <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Frontiers<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Q1 en el JCR) y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pe-APA<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Q4 en el JCR), ambas de acceso abierto internacional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Su labor investigadora se centra en la paleontolog\u00eda de vertebrados tanto de medios continentales como marinos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bb<strong>Departamento<\/strong>\u00bb font_container=\u00bbtag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23535968&#8243;
