Finn en el \u201cScripps Resea<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">rch Institute\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> en San Diego, EEUU, donde tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 con el Prof. K. B. Sharpless (Premio Nobel de Qu\u00edmica, 2001) en Ciencias de los Materiales. Desde 2006 ha ocupado diversas posiciones tanto en la academia como en la industria, siendo Investigador Ram\u00f3n y Cajal en la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid y \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sr. Chemist<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d en \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dow Chemical Company<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d en Suiza.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En 2010 obtuvo simult\u00e1neamente una plaza de Cient\u00edfico Titular en el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC) y de Investigador Experimentado de la Fundaci\u00f3n Alexander von Humboldt en la Universidad de Regensburg (Alemania) donde estableci\u00f3 su grupo de investigaci\u00f3n independiente. En 2013 fue el primer cient\u00edfico espa\u00f1ol en obtener la c\u00e1tedra Heisenberg de la Fundaci\u00f3n Alemana de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica (DFG), siendo Profesor Titular en la Universidad de Regensburg. En 2018 regres\u00f3 a Espa\u00f1a, a su plaza del CSIC, y se adscribi\u00f3 al Instituto de Productos Naturales y Agrobiolog\u00eda (IPNA), situado en Tenerife. Actualmente es \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PrivatDozent<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d en la Universidad de Regensburg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">D\u00edaz ha centrado su carrera en la creaci\u00f3n de materiales funcionales nanoestructurados con aplicaciones en campos como energ\u00eda, cat\u00e1lisis, recubrimientos, sensores y biomedicina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bb<strong>Departamento<\/strong>\u00bb font_container=\u00bbtag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23535968&#8243;
