Licenciado en Bellas Artes en Bellas Artes, especialidad Escultura, es doctor por la Universidad de La Laguna, donde present\u00f3 la tesis \u201cLas portadas de piedra del casco hist\u00f3rico de la Orotava. Dise\u00f1o, estructura, ornamentaci\u00f3n y puesta en valor\u201d (2017). Cuenta tambi\u00e9n con el t\u00edtulo de Experto\/M\u00e1ster en Piedras volc\u00e1nicas: creaci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n, por la Universidad de La Laguna (2009). Actualmente imparte docencia en el Grado en Bellas Artes y el\u00a0 Grado en Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n de Bienes Culturales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En 2017 fue reconocido por el Cabildo de Tenerife con el Premio Tenerife al Fomento y la Investigaci\u00f3n de la Artesan\u00eda de Espa\u00f1a y Am\u00e9rica, debido a un trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n en torno a las portadas ornamentales realizadas en piedra que conforman parte del Patrimonio Hist\u00f3rico Art\u00edstico de La Orotava.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n se centran, por un lado, en los aspectos conceptuales, criterios y aspectos hist\u00f3ricos en torno a la Conservaci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n del Patrimonio Cultural, y por otro, en la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica personal y estudio de los materiales para la escultura.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bb<strong>Departamento<\/strong>\u00bb font_container=\u00bbtag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23535968&#8243;
