Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el estudio del aprovechamiento de recursos vegetales (carbones, maderas y fibras) en el pasado. Desde 2013 analiza las estrategias de recolecci\u00f3n de combustible le\u00f1oso en yacimientos arqueol\u00f3gicos de Espa\u00f1a, Italia, Montenegro, Armenia y Marruecos. Desde 2017 se especializa en el uso de madera y fibras vegetales con distintos fines por las poblaciones abor\u00edgenes del archipi\u00e9lago canario, aplicando metodolog\u00edas experimentales que permiten comprender los criterios de adquisici\u00f3n de estas materias primas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha disfrutado de cuatro contratos postdoctorales competitivos: APOSTD (Generalitat Valenciana, 2017\u20132019), Juan de la Cierva \u2013 Formaci\u00f3n (2019\u20132021), Juan de la Cierva \u2013 Incorporaci\u00f3n (2022\u20132025, Ministerio de Ciencia) y una Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (2021\u20132022, Comisi\u00f3n Europea). Gracias a esta financiaci\u00f3n ha realizado estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en Arizona State University, CEPAM-CNRS, University of Basel, Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y Universidad de La Laguna. Ha formado parte de m\u00faltiples proyectos nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Cuenta con 47 publicaciones cient\u00edficas, incluyendo 23 como primera autora, en las que ha desarrollado metodolog\u00edas novedosas en arqueobot\u00e1nica: aplicaci\u00f3n de SIG a carbones paleol\u00edticos y prehisp\u00e1nicos, modelos clim\u00e1ticos de alta resoluci\u00f3n, an\u00e1lisis tecnol\u00f3gicos de artefactos de madera, estudios tafon\u00f3micos y experimentaci\u00f3n sobre combusti\u00f3n y selecci\u00f3n de combustible. Treinta de sus trabajos han sido publicados en acceso abierto y han tenido amplia difusi\u00f3n institucional. Ha sido reconocida con el Premio Joven Investigador Distinguido (ULPGC, 2020), el Premio de Investigaci\u00f3n Junior (ULL, 2025), el Certificado R3 (AEI, 2023) y un sexenio de investigaci\u00f3n (2014\u20132020).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha realizado m\u00e1s de 40 contribuciones a congresos nacionales e internacionales y ha sido ponente invitada en centros como la Universidad de Alicante, la ULL, el INCIPIT-CSIC, la Universidad de Basilea y la Universidad de Ferrara. Tiene experiencia en organizaci\u00f3n de reuniones cient\u00edficas internacionales y fue editora principal de un volumen especial de JAS: Reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Actualmente es investigadora principal de tres proyectos: un Proyecto de Generaci\u00f3n de Conocimiento Tipo A (PID2021-125055NA-I00), un Proyecto de Consolidaci\u00f3n Investigadora (CNS2024-154341) y un convenio entre el Gobierno de Canarias y la ULL (CC20231229). Ha dirigido el proyecto europeo WoodTRACES (MSCA-IF 101018095) y ha captado financiaci\u00f3n regional a trav\u00e9s de los proyectos ARQUEO-CAB (2023) y GUANCHECAB (2024).
