Su trayectoria acad\u00e9mica se ha centrado en la Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica, con especial \u00e9nfasis en la reutilizaci\u00f3n y tratamiento de aguas residuales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Obtuvo su doctorado en la ULL, donde realiz\u00f3 una tesis relacionada con la evoluci\u00f3n de aguas residuales depuradas almacenadas en balsas, marcando as\u00ed el inicio de su carrera en el \u00e1mbito de la Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica aplicada al tratamiento de aguas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Forma parte del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n TyRA (Tratamiento y Reutilizaci\u00f3n de Aguas) en la ULL, donde ha desarrollado proyectos orientados a la regeneraci\u00f3n de espacios marinos y costeros de Canarias mediante filtraci\u00f3n por membranas de aguas residuales. Tambi\u00e9n ha colaborado en iniciativas para el desarrollo de tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas destinadas a la desmineralizaci\u00f3n de aguas subterr\u00e1neas en terrenos volc\u00e1nicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Su producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica incluye art\u00edculos en revistas especializadas, abordando temas como la transformaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno en aguas residuales y la mejora de la calidad del agua mediante t\u00e9cnicas innovadoras durante su transporte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En el \u00e1mbito docente, ha impartido asignaturas en programas de doctorado en Qu\u00edmica e Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica.
