Profesora del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Inform\u00e1tica y de Sistemas en el \u00e1rea de Ciencias de la Computaci\u00f3n e Inteligencia Artificial en la Universidad de La Laguna desde 1990.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fue Directora de Secretariado entre 2001 y 2003, y Decana de Facultad entre 2006 y 2010. Es miembro del Claustro desde 2001, y lo fue del Consejo de Gobierno desde 2017 hasta 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Es responsable del grupo CryptULL de investigaci\u00f3n en Criptolog\u00eda de la ULL (https:\/\/cryptull.webs.ull.es). Ha participado en 61 proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n, siendo IP en 31. Actualmente lidera en la ULL un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n financiado en una convocatoria competitiva europea (Celtic-Plus EUREKA). Adem\u00e1s colidera un proyecto de la Fundaci\u00f3n CajaCanarias, y participa en una acci\u00f3n COST europea y en una red de excelencia nacional. Ha sido partner de 5 redes ERASMUS y de otras 2 acciones COST europeas. Es evaluadora habitual de proyectos europeos y nacionales, y miembro fundador de la Junta Directiva de la Red de Excelencia Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n en Ciberseguridad. Ha sido coordinadora de la Red Tem\u00e1tica de Excelencia de Matem\u00e1ticas en la Sociedad de la Informaci\u00f3n. Ha dirigido 7 tesis doctorales y m\u00e1s de 70 trabajos de fin de titulaci\u00f3n. Ha firmado 20 convenios de colaboraci\u00f3n con empresas. Es inventora de 2 patentes y autora de 65 publicaciones en revistas indexadas en SCI JCR. Tambi\u00e9n es autora de 5 libros y 8 cap\u00edtulos, y editora de 4 libros.
