Estudios post-doctorales en el Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (Nueva York, USA), y en el Center for Biomedical Research (Rockefeller University, Nueva York, USA). Catedr\u00e1tica de Fisiolog\u00eda, Secci\u00f3n Medicina (Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud). Investigadora colaboradora en tres Proyectos de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente en el Grado en Fisioterapia y en el Grado en Logopedia. He dirigido siete tesis doctorales (un premio extraordinario de doctorado). Trabajos fin de m\u00e1ster \/ DEA dirigidos: 14.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha dedicado su vida a la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, en particular a las enfermedades del cerebro en el envejecimiento y a los nutrientes para la salud cerebral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En cuanto a la gesti\u00f3n, ha sido Secretaria Cient\u00edfica del Instituto de Tecnolog\u00edas Biom\u00e9dicas (periodo 2008-2011); Secretaria Cient\u00edfica del Instituto Canario de Investigaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer (per\u00edodo 2011-2013); Secretar\u00eda del Departamento de Fisiolog\u00eda de la Facultad de Medicina (periodo 2012-2013); Directora de Secretariado de los Servicios Generales de Apoyo a la Investigaci\u00f3n (periodo 2012-2015), que recibi\u00f3 el sello europeo de calidad en gesti\u00f3n EFQM (+300) (a\u00f1o 2014). Primera mujer directora de la Oficina de Transferencia (OTRI) (hasta junio 2016 y desde junio 2019 hasta la actualidad). Evaluadora cient\u00edfica experta de becas de Formaci\u00f3n de Profesorado Universitario y de Proyectos competitivos de la Agencia Estatal de Investigaci\u00f3n. \u00c1rea de Medicina cl\u00ednica y epidemiolog\u00eda (MEC), as\u00ed como de Proyectos de Investigaci\u00f3n Competitivos del MINECO y del ISCIII (desde 2011 hasta la actualidad).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Doctorada en Biomedicina (Universidad Laval de Quebec, Canad\u00e1). Premio de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Mujeres de Carrera Universitarias de la Universit\u00e9 Laval de Quebec (Canad\u00e1). Fui investigadora contratada del Programa Ram\u00f3n y Cajal (Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovaci\u00f3n, Gobierno de Espa\u00f1a). Coordinadora del Laboratorio de Neurobiolog\u00eda Celular, que se dedica fundamentalmente a la investigaci\u00f3n de los mecanismos relacionados con las enfermedades neurodegenerativas asociadas al envejecimiento (Alzheimer y Parkinson en particular). Medalla europea al trabajo de Econom\u00eda y Competitividad (a\u00f1o 2016). Premio de ExpoFinancial 2019 a la divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Datos bibliom\u00e9tricos: Co-autora de 137 art\u00edculos, 15 cap\u00edtulos de libro internacionales, 5 libros editados, he participado en 28 Proyectos de Investigaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, he presentado 87 comunicaciones a Congresos nacionales e internacionales, y he sido ponente invitada en 34 de ellos. \u00cdndice H: 42. Puesto 6 de investigadoras de la ULL (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.webometrics.info\/en\/investigadoras\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.webometrics.info\/en\/investigadoras<\/a>). Patentes: 6 (1 internacional).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ha recibido el Premio a la Mujer Investigadora en Biomedicina en la Universidad Laval (Canad\u00e1), el Premio de Investigaci\u00f3n Agust\u00edn de Bethencourt de la Fundaci\u00f3n La Caixa-CajaCanarias, la Medalla Europea al Trabajo de Econom\u00eda y Competitividad y la Medalla de Honor del Instituto de Ciencias Forenses de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En su faceta divulgadora, colabora con diversos medios de comunicaci\u00f3n incluyendo la Cadena SER, Radio Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola, Televisi\u00f3n Auton\u00f3mica Canaria, Canarias Radio, la Radio Auton\u00f3mica Canaria, la Radio Nacional en Catalu\u00f1a, el Huffington post y Algunos libros buenos, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Coordina la web<a href=\"https:\/\/raquelmarin.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> www.raquelmarin.net<\/a> con m\u00e1s de 1.000 seguidores que ilustra un ampl\u00edsimo contenido en neuronutrici\u00f3n, salud cerebral y la actualidad neurocient\u00edfica adaptada a todos los p\u00fablicos. Tambi\u00e9n contiene un curso online de Nutrici\u00f3n para el cerebro y prevenci\u00f3n de la neuropatolog\u00eda. En 2018 public\u00f3 \u201cDale vida a tu cerebro\u201d (Roca Editorial), del que lleva tres ediciones vendidas. En 2019 public\u00f3 \u201cPon en forma tu cerebro\u201d que ya se encuentra en segunda edici\u00f3n.
