Su v\u00ednculo con la docencia comenz\u00f3 justo al terminar sus estudios y fue profesora de Piano, M\u00fasica y Movimiento, Coro Infantil y Formaci\u00f3n Musical Complementaria durante 15 a\u00f1os en el \u00e1mbito no reglado, aunque tambi\u00e9n ejerci\u00f3 en Educaci\u00f3n Primaria como especialista de M\u00fasica. Durante este tiempo sigui\u00f3 completando su formaci\u00f3n docente en metodolog\u00edas y recursos did\u00e1cticos para la educaci\u00f3n musical abarcando todos sus \u00e1mbitos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Su inquietud investigadora en el campo de la educaci\u00f3n siempre ha estado presente y muy vinculada a su actividad como maestra, interes\u00e1ndose en especial por la educaci\u00f3n de la creatividad y la did\u00e1ctica musical. Sus estudios de doctorado los realiz\u00f3 en el Departamento de Psicolog\u00eda Evolutiva y de la Educaci\u00f3n y su tesis doctoral, defendida en 2009, se centr\u00f3 en la evaluaci\u00f3n, desarrollo y educaci\u00f3n de la creatividad, tanto en la formaci\u00f3n inicial docente como en el \u00e1mbito de la Educaci\u00f3n Primaria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Su producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica incluye art\u00edculos en revistas especializadas, cap\u00edtulos de libros y numerosas aportaciones a congresos nacionales e internacionales. Desde su reciente incorporaci\u00f3n a la docencia universitaria ha dirigido Proyectos de Innovaci\u00f3n Educativa en la Facultad de Educaci\u00f3n y sigue participando activamente en la formaci\u00f3n continua del cuerpo de docentes de ense\u00f1anza obligatoria, llevando a los centros educativos los avances en la investigaci\u00f3n que desarrolla en la universidad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adem\u00e1s, ha participado en la redacci\u00f3n del curr\u00edculo del \u00e1rea de Educaci\u00f3n Emocional y para la Creatividad como experta en educaci\u00f3n de la creatividad y a partir de esto forma parte del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de La Laguna denominado EMOCREA-ULL. En los primeros a\u00f1os, el grupo se orient\u00f3 al apoyo de la implantaci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea, la formaci\u00f3n del profesorado y la implicaci\u00f3n de las familias. Se realizaron diversas actuaciones formativas a los docentes y familias en los distintos centros que participaban del proyecto y requer\u00edan de asesoramiento.
