\"\"Ruth Rodr\u00edguez Ramos complet\u00f3 el Grado en Qu\u00edmica en el a\u00f1o 2017 por la Universidad de La Laguna (ULL). Durante el curso acad\u00e9mico 2017-2018, continu\u00f3 sus estudios realizando el M\u00e1ster Universitario en Qu\u00edmica en la misma universidad. Ruth obtuvo el Premio Extraordinario en la dicha titulaci\u00f3n concedido por la ULL y el Premio al Mejor Trabajo de Fin de M\u00e1ster en la categor\u00eda de Ciencias Experimentales otorgado por la ULL y el Consejo Social de la ULL. En 2019, comenz\u00f3 su tesis doctoral en el grupo An\u00e1lisis Qu\u00edmico Aplicado a la Industria, Medioambiente y Productos Agroalimentarios perteneciente a la ULL bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de los Dres. Miguel \u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez Delgado y B\u00e1rbara Socas Rodr\u00edguez. Su proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el desarrollo de metodolog\u00edas anal\u00edticas novedosas para el an\u00e1lisis de contaminantes org\u00e1nicos en productos agroalimentarios, as\u00ed como en muestras ambientales haciendo uso de protocolos de extracci\u00f3n altamente selectivos e instrumentaci\u00f3n anal\u00edtica avanzada. Durante el primer a\u00f1o de desarrollo del doctorado, Ruth particip\u00f3 como investigadora en el proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n europea \u201cPERVEMAC II\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, en 2020, llev\u00f3 a cabo una estancia un centro internacional de investigaci\u00f3n, en el Servicio de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos bajo la supervisi\u00f3n del Dr. Steve J. Lehotay, la cual fue financiada por la Fundaci\u00f3n Internacional de Mentor\u00eda para el Avance de la Educaci\u00f3n Superior y por el centro receptor. Ruth ha participado en la publicaci\u00f3n de diversos art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos de investigaci\u00f3n y revisi\u00f3n, cap\u00edtulos de libro, tambi\u00e9n en comunicaciones orales y tipo p\u00f3ster presentadas en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Desde el a\u00f1o 2020, es beneficiaria de una beca para desarrollar su tesis doctoral concedida por la Agencia Canaria de investigaci\u00f3n, Innovaci\u00f3n y Sociedad de la Informaci\u00f3n del Gobierno de Canarias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ruth Rodr\u00edguez Ramos obtained her Bachelor of Chemistry in 2017 from the University of La Laguna (ULL). During the 2017-2018 course, she continued with her academic purposes completing a Master\u2019s Degree in Chemistry at the same university. She was awarded with the Extraordinary Prize in the mentioned degree granted by the ULL and the Best Master’s Final Project Prize given by the ULL and the Social Council-ULL Students. In 2019, Ruth began her doctoral studies in the Research Group of Chemical Analysis Applied to the Industry, Environment and Agri-food Products Products belonging to the ULL under the supervision of Dr. Miguel \u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez Delgado and Dr. B\u00e1rbara Socas Rodr\u00edguez. Her research project is focused on developing pioneering methods for analysing organic contaminants in agricultural and food products, as well as environmental samples through highly selective extraction protocols and advanced analytical instrumentation. During the first year of the development of the thesis, Ruth participated as a researcher in the PERVEMAC II European cooperation project. Besides, in 2020, she completed a four-month research stay at the USDA\u2013Agricultural Research Service under the supervision of Dr. Steven J. Lehotay. This was possible thanks to the International Mentoring Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education fellowship and the receiving centre. Ruth has participated in the publication of several scientific research and review articles, book chapters, as well as oral and poster communications presented at national and international conferences. Since 2020, she is beneficiary of a fellowship from the Canary Agency for Research, Innovation, and Information Society of the Government of the Canary Islands to support her in the completion of her doctoral thesis.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
