The Vice-Rectorate for Culture and University Extension of the University of La Laguna has renewed part of its composition today, Friday, April 11, by appointing Lilibeth Fuentes Medina as director of the secretariat of Institutional and Corporate Chairs already Abel López Díez as director of the secretariat of University Extension.
The rector of the academic institution, Francisco García, thanked the two new additions to the vice-rectorate for their institutional commitment, especially in these complicated times when the "public university has a lot at stake" and therefore it is necessary to work to make its activity visible with actions such as university extension itself.
The Vice-Rector for Culture and Extension, Isabel León, pointed out that they are “the ideal people” to enrich her department, due to their “visceral commitment” to the institution and because they are people whose “proven professionalism is above the assigned competencies”.
For their part, Fuentes and López expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them by the governing team and the warm welcome they received. Both stated their interest in continuing to grow in their respective areas by launching new initiatives.
