The opening ceremony will be attended by the Rector of the University of La Laguna, Francisco Garc\u00eda, and the President of the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists, Jes\u00fas Aguilar, among other authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The opening lecture will be given by Professor Carmen \u00c1lvarez Lorenzo, Director of the Materials Institute at the University of Santiago de Compostela, who will speak on &#039;Bioinspired Medicines&#039;. Four sessions will be dedicated to new frontiers in\u00a0<em>Drug Delivery<\/em>, From incremental innovation in pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical technology, to advances in 3D printing of medicines and disruptive medicines, attendees will be able to share their perspectives on the present and future of these topics.<\/p>\n<p>The event has been sponsored by the Spanish Society of Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy and the University of La Laguna through its Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer of the University of La Laguna, with the collaboration of various entities in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 B.
