This 120-plus page issue features five articles written by researchers from academic institutions in Spain, Argentina, and Chile. This new edition It can be consulted free of charge in the university repository.

Nilce Mariana Cothros, from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), opens the issue with a work on the proclamation medals of Charles II, analyzing the representation of the monarch in these numismatic pieces made for the official ceremonies of 1666 in Seville, Granada and the Spanish Netherlands, which were used as tools of political propaganda.

Next, Claudio Petit-Laurent Charpentier, from Universidad Mayor (Chile), analyzes the proliferation of terms used to refer to artistic research and its epistemological and institutional consequences. He warns that the lack of clear boundaries between these categories contributes to making research developed from artistic creation invisible and devaluing it.

Next, David J. Caramazana Malia (University of Seville) reconstructs the trajectory of Pedro García de Sanlúcar, one of the master builders of Seville Cathedral during the early phases of the Gothic project, active between 1419 and 1440. Based on previously scattered documentary evidence not linked to a single creative personality, he proposes a unified interpretation of his work as a stonemason and bricklayer.

The fourth paper is by Isabel de la Cuétara San Luis, from the University of La Laguna, who analyzes aesthetic emotion in the work of Mondrian, one of the key figures in abstract painting. His artistic production is distinguished by a strict economy of plastic resources, complemented by a vast theoretical body of work comprising more than 100 texts in which he reflected on various aspects of painting practice.

Finally, Manuel Carrubba Laraignée and Leticia Orieta, from the National University of Cuyo (Argentina), analyze from a gender perspective the awards given by the Manuel Belgrano Salon of Plastic Arts, organized by the Sívori Museum of Argentina, during the period 1980-1990.

ACCADERE, the biannual digital journal of the Department of Art History and Philosophy at the University of La Laguna, published…

[35,6,32,20,107,37,10
3045,3046,2598
post-6557","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-departamentos","category-destacado","category-facultad-de-humanidades","category-facultades-y-escuelas","category-historia-del-arte-y-filosofia","category-investigacion","category-portada-ull","tag-accadere","tag-hisotria-del-arte","tag-servicio-de-publicaciones
["GET
