This meeting focused on the Prosperity Dimension of the Canary Islands Agenda 2030, and is the fourth of the &#039;Paliques&#039; to have taken place in the Canary Islands during 2024 (Tenerife in January, La Gomera in March, and Lanzarote in April).<\/p>\n<p>This session focused on Sustainable Development Goals 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, addressing topics such as affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, reducing inequalities, and sustainable cities and communities. The morning was dedicated to intergenerational reflection and dialogue, facilitating collaborative workshops to share challenges, problems, actions, and individual and collective commitments, fostering an environment of collaboration and mutual learning.<\/p>\n<p>The event was opened by Francisco Candil Gonz\u00e1lez, Deputy Minister of Social Welfare of the Government of the Canary Islands, and Jorge P\u00e9rez Artiles, Director General of Citizen Participation of the Island Council of Gran Canaria.
