La Universidad de La Laguna cuenta con 31 de sus investigadores e investigadoras entre el 2% de cient\u00edficos m\u00e1s influyentes del mundo, seg\u00fan la clasificaci\u00f3n que realiza la Universidad de Stanford<\/a> cada a\u00f1o. Para elaborar este estudio se ha utilizado la informaci\u00f3n disponible en la base de datos Scopus, dividida en 22 campos cient\u00edficos y 174 subcampos, centr\u00e1ndose principalmente en el n\u00famero de citas de cada persona para determinar su relevancia.<\/p>\n

Los resultados se presentan en dos listados diferentes: el primero, que atiende al personal investigador m\u00e1s relevante observando toda su trayectoria, medida entre los a\u00f1os 1996 y 2023, que incluye a 204.643 personas; y el segundo, referido \u00fanicamente a quienes han sido objeto de mayor n\u00famero de citas a sus publicaciones durante el a\u00f1o 2022, con un total de 210.198 entradas. En el primero de ellos, la Universidad de La Laguna cuenta con 19 representantes y en el segundo, con 20. Pero, dado que hay 8 personas con presencia en ambas listas, el resultado total es el ya mencionado de 31 investigadores e investigadoras de la instituci\u00f3n tinerfe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Las personas que aparecen tanto en el listado que computa la carrera cient\u00edfica completa como el que analiza solamente 2022 son el psic\u00f3logo ya jubilado Manuel Guti\u00e9rrez Calvo; el f\u00edsico Marcil Runowski<\/a>; los qu\u00edmicos David D\u00edaz D\u00edaz<\/a>, Ricardo M. Souto<\/a> y Miguel \u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez-Delgado<\/a>, el astrof\u00edsico Jorge Casares; y los m\u00e9dicos Antonio Cabrera de Le\u00f3n<\/a> y Lucio D\u00edaz-Flores<\/a>.<\/p>\n

En el listado que eval\u00faa la carrera cient\u00edfica global entre 1996 y 2022 tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n aparecen los psic\u00f3logos especializados en educaci\u00f3n Eduardo Mart\u00edn<\/a> y Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Rodrigo<\/a>; los astrof\u00edsicos Alexandre Vazdekis y Johan K. Knapen; los m\u00e9dicos Emilio Sanz<\/a> y Gundela Meyer; el bi\u00f3logo molecular N\u00e9stor Torres<\/a>; y los qu\u00edmicos Jos\u00e9 Manuel Padr\u00f3n<\/a>, Gonzalo Garc\u00eda<\/a>, Elena Pastor<\/a> y Juan Carlos Ruiz Morales.<\/p>\n

En cuanto al listado referido a la producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica de 2022, en \u00e9l figuran la psic\u00f3loga Pilar Matud<\/a>; el comunic\u00f3logo Alberto Ard\u00e8vol Abreu<\/a>; los astrof\u00edsicos Francisco Shu Kitaura<\/a> y Claudio Dalla Vecchia; el ec\u00f3logo Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez Palacios<\/a>; la ingeniera inform\u00e1tica Carina Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a>; el especialista en expresi\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica en ingenier\u00eda y arquitectura Jorge Mart\u00edn<\/a>; el matem\u00e1tico Juan J. Trujillo, el m\u00e9dico Esteban Porrini<\/a>; el parasit\u00f3logo Jacob Lorenzo Morales,<\/a> el f\u00edsico Luis Alberto Correa<\/a>; y la arque\u00f3loga Carolina Mallol<\/a>.<\/p>\n
