Utiliza la informaci\u00f3n obtenida a trav\u00e9s de la base de datos Scopus, dividida en 22 grades \u00e1reas cient\u00edficas y 174 submaterias. La <a href=\"https:\/\/elsevier.digitalcommonsdata.com\/datasets\/btchxktzyw\/8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente de esta lista<\/a> ha sido publicada recientemente e incluye a 40 personas adscritas a la Universidad de La Laguna, 9 m\u00e1s que en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/portal\/noticias\/2024\/ranking-stanford-31-investigadores-ull-mas-influyente\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listado del a\u00f1o pasado<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Esta clasificaci\u00f3n ofrece los resultados en dos listados diferentes, teniendo en cuanta los datos recogidos por la base de datos Scopus hasta el 30 de julio de 2025. El primero de ellos ordena al personal investigador teniendo en cuenta toda su trayectoria e incluye a 230.333 personas, mientras que el segundo se refiere \u00fanicamente a las personas m\u00e1s citadas durante el a\u00f1o 2024 y cuenta con un total de 236.314 registros.<\/p>\n<p>En el primer listado, la Universidad de La Laguna cuenta con 23 representantes (cuatro m\u00e1s que el a\u00f1o pasado) y en el segundo, con 29 (ocho m\u00e1s). Pero, dado que hay 12 investigadores e investigadoras que se repiten en ambas listas, el resultado total es de 40 personas diferentes. Hay que tener en cuenta, adem\u00e1s, que los listados incorporan a personas ya jubiladas o incluso fallecidas, dado que pueden haber sido responsables de trabajos relevantes en sus respetivos campos que siguen siendo citados pese a su antig\u00fcedad.<\/p>\n<p>De este modo, aparecen en ambos listados el psic\u00f3logo ya jubilado Manuel Guti\u00e9rrez Calvo; los astrof\u00edsicos <a href=\"https:\/\/portalciencia.ull.es\/unidades\/2919\/colaboracion\/investigador\/1954965\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carlos Allende Prieto<\/a>, Alexander Vazdekis y Johan K. Knapen; los qu\u00edmicos <a href=\"https:\/\/portalciencia.ull.es\/investigadores\/82481\/detalle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David D\u00edaz D\u00edaz<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/portalciencia.ull.es\/investigadores\/82350\/detalle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ricardo M.
