Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to value the carving of the martyr Saint Sebastian that we find in the Malaga town of Algarrobo. In October 2018, after the restoration carried out by Enrique Salvo Rabasco, an unpublished document was found inside the sculpture which confirms the authorship of Palma Burgos and also confirms the date of completion in the early fear of 1940.
