The video-consultation, towards a telecare experience by primary care nurses

Abstract

Nurses should not be oblivious to the implementation of new information and communication technologies. The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic has generated a scenario in which face-to-face contact with the patient has been replaced by remote care through telematics tools. The health experience in the use of video consultation is very diverse and highly topical. Knowing data whose scientific evidence is related to the improvement of user care favors valuing nursing as a link between the user and their health environment. Addressing the health problem in the virtual environment requires the acquisition of digital skills and knowledge of cybersecurity, notions related to informed consent addressed to the patient.
