Corrections

Contributions published in the Revista de Filología de la Universidad de La Laguna will remain intact, unless circumstances arise that require the texts to be partially corrected or eliminated. Should this be the case, the journal's editorial team will proceed to their correction or elimination, following the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics, in order to guarantee the transparency of the registration of works.

Errata and Corrections

If a typo or mistake is discovered after the publication of a paper -whether the responsibility of the journal or the author- that could affect any aspect of the work (registration, or reputation of the authors and the journal), the changes and their correction will be notified and reported in detail on the journal's web page, in order to preserve the academic integrity of the paper

Retractions

In the event that a significant error is detected that may lead to the invalidation of the conclusions of a paper, or that research malpractice or inappropriate conduct in the management of the publication is found out, the following note will be published on the journal’s web page, linked to the retracted contribution: "'Retraction: [title of article]'". The notification will be signed by the editors of the journal and identified by a DOI number.

Article Removal

The removal of a published article will be carried out under very exceptional circumstances, provided that the editors of the journal consider that the problems are so serious that they cannot be amended by means of the correction and retraction procedures described above. The removal will entail the preservation both of the authorship and of the title of the work in its metadata, and the content will be replaced by an explanatory document stating that such removal is due to legal reasons.
