Comic Collection and Conservation in the U.S. From the Private Market to Libraries
Abstract
Comic books, manga and others were created as a single use material used to be read and thrown away, nevertheless the current interest in this kind of media by fans has turned them into collectibles and even objects of speculation and investment. In the following research we will talk about comics collections, value criteria applied to them, conservations as well as comparative between art collections and comics.
