Latente is a journal committed to gender equality policies, both in its organization and in its editorial work. As such, at least 50% of the members of both its Editorial Board and its Advisory Board are women.

At the same time, authors are encouraged to use inclusive language and to express themselves without discrimination based on sex, gender, or identity, and without perpetuating gender stereotypes. Likewise, the names of not only the authors who publish in the journal, but also those who appear in the bibliographic references of each contribution and those who are part of the Editorial Board are always stated.
