INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY
RIULL is the Institutional Repository of the University of La Laguna, created with the aim of collecting, preserving and disseminating in open access The scientific and academic output of this institution is managed by the University Library.
Organization
The documents housed in the RIULL are organized into collections, which are further grouped into communities and subcommunities. The communities (the main organizational units of the RIULL) are as follows:
- University administration and management: Institutional documents of an informative, regulatory or administrative nature from the University of La Laguna, produced by people belonging to its community in the exercise of their functions.
- TeachingDocuments resulting from the teaching and learning activities of the University of La Laguna. This community includes the Final Degree Projects and of Master, as well as the teaching materials prepared by the teaching and research staff.
- Investigation: Documents resulting from scientific research produced or edited by the departments, research groups and study centers of the University of La Laguna. It includes the Theses read at the ULL.
- Magazines: This community includes all periodical publications edited within the University of La Laguna, whether through the Publications Service or through other channels.
Who can deposit at RIULL
Any member of the University of La Laguna, according to the following criteria:
- Undergraduate students You can submit your final degree projects through the Electronic Headquarters procedure.
- Master's students You can submit your master's theses through the Electronic Headquarters procedure.
- The doctoral students You can submit your doctoral theses through this form.
- The teaching and research staff You can deposit any document resulting from your teaching or research activity (articles, books, conference papers, teaching materials, research data, etc.) through the Electronic Headquarters procedure, and following the Guide for uploading research papers to RIULL.
- The administrative and service staff You can deposit institutional documents of an informative, regulatory, or administrative nature from the University of La Laguna, produced by members of its community in the course of their duties. To do so, you must use a form.
- The staff of the University Library You can deposit both documentation generated by the Library and those documents corresponding to other categories that, for any reason, cannot be deposited through the specific procedures and forms.
What file formats can be deposited?
The application that manages the Repository supports any file format. However, in order to guarantee interoperability and the provision of access to the items deposited in RIULL, it is recommended that content be deposited in open and non-proprietary formats, specifically the following:
- Text documents: PDF
- Images: PNG, JPG
- Audio: MP3, MP4
- Video: MPEG
- Non-proprietary software
Depositing items protected by a password, encrypted in whole or in part, or containing malicious code is not permitted.
IMPORTANT: The ULL Electronic Office only allows uploading files in PDF format. Therefore, to upload documents to the Repository in a format other than PDF, you must contact the University Library via email. riull@ull.es
Rights
Unless otherwise stated, documents hosted on the RIULL are available via a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, This means that anyone can share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format under the following conditions:
- It must be cited, that is, authorship must be properly acknowledged, a link to the license must be provided, and any changes must be indicated.
- You may not use the material for a commercial purpose.
- If you translate, remix, transform, or create from the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
- You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict doing what the license permits.
