La aplicaci\u00f3n de estas pol\u00edticas desde un enfoque transversal ha llevado a que dicha normativa aparezca no s\u00f3lo en leyes espec\u00edficas de igualdad, como la Ley Org\u00e1nica 3\/2007 de 22 de marzo para la igualdad efectiva de mujeres y hombres o la Ley 1\/2010, de 26 de febrero, canaria de igualdad entre mujeres y hombres, (donde tanto la ley estatal como la canaria introducen disposiciones aplicables al \u00e1mbito de la educaci\u00f3n superior y al del sector p\u00fablico, entre otros), sino tambi\u00e9n en otras leyes de especial inter\u00e9s para las universidades p\u00fablicas, como son la Ley Org\u00e1nica 4\/2007, de 12 de abril, por la que se modifica la Ley Org\u00e1nica 6\/2001 de Universidades, o la Ley 7\/2007, de 12 de abril, del Estatuto B\u00e1sico class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1f9a65c\" data-block-id=\"1f9a65c\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">La Unidad de Igualdad de G\u00e9nero de la Universidad de La Laguna tiene sus propias funciones, aunque todos los colectivos, \u00f3rganos y unidades organizativas de la universidad resultan implicados de manera transversal por el principio de igualdad entre mujeres y hombres de acuerdo con el marco normativo aplicable.<br><br>Como acciones generales, se plantean las medidas de sensibilizaci\u00f3n en la promoci\u00f3n de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en la comunidad universitaria, las labores de coordinaci\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas y acciones as\u00ed como la realizaci\u00f3n de una evaluaci\u00f3n, seguimiento y valoraci\u00f3n del cumplimiento de la legislaci\u00f3n, planes y medidas para lograr la igualdad de g\u00e9nero efectiva.<br><br>Se realizan, entre otras, acciones m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas para tomar medidas correctoras de las desigualdades de g\u00e9nero, con especial atenci\u00f3n a las v\u00edctimas de violencia de g\u00e9nero, al acoso sexual y\/o sexista y se proponen acciones de conciliaci\u00f3n de la vida personal, familiar, laboral y acad\u00e9mica.<br><br>Destacan, por \u00faltimo, las actuaciones que faciliten la formaci\u00f3n, la investigaci\u00f3n, la transferencia y la gesti\u00f3n con perspectiva de g\u00e9nero; as\u00ed como el asesoramiento en materia de igualdad de g\u00e9nero a personas, colectivos, unidades organizativas y \u00f3rganos de la comunidad unidad organizativa de la Universidad de La Laguna (esto es, cada Facultad, Escuela y Departamento) debe contar con una persona que act\u00fae como Representante en pol\u00edticas de igualdad de g\u00e9nero en dicha unidad organizativa.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Las Comisiones de Igualdad se han ido creando como grupos de trabajo facilitadores e impulsores de acciones para la igualdad.
