Traitement s\u00e9mantique dans le cerveau\u00a0: identification des repr\u00e9sentations et des m\u00e9canismes \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la stimulation par courant continu transcendantal (tDCS) dans le lobe temporal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion shape=\u00bbsquare\u00bb c_icon=\u00bbchevron\u00bb c_position=\u00bbright\u00bb active_section=\u00bb\u00bb no_fill=\u00bbtrue\u00bb collapsible_all=\u00bbtrue\u00bb][vc_tta_section title=\u00bbResumen\u00bb tab_id=\u00bbresumen\u00bb][vc_column_text]<br \/>\nLa finalidad del Proyecto de Investigaci\u00f3n es la de someter a comprobaci\u00f3n emp\u00edrica una serie sistem\u00e1tica de hip\u00f3tesis sobre la implicaci\u00f3n del l\u00f3bulo temporal anterior (ATL) en el procesamiento sem\u00e1ntico. En un conjunto de experimentos se utilizar\u00e1, como t\u00e9cnica no invasiva de alteraci\u00f3n moment\u00e1nea del funcionamiento cerebral, la estimulaci\u00f3n transcraneal de corriente directa (tDCS), y el procedimiento experimental del paradigma Deese-Roediger-McDermott (DRM) para el an\u00e1lisis controlado de las relaciones sem\u00e1nticas que mantienen los elementos de las listas objeto de estudio y de los mecanismos subyacentes a las distorsiones de origen sem\u00e1ntico en la memoria. Se llevar\u00e1n a cabo dos series de estudios emp\u00edricos. En primer lugar, se realizar\u00e1 un estudio normativo orientado a la ampliaci\u00f3n de la base de datos de asociaci\u00f3n libre ya disponible, con el objetivo de disponer de los materiales sem\u00e1nticos adecuados para los experimentos de memoria. Con la informaci\u00f3n l\u00e9xica contenida en esta base de datos, y datos disponibles en otras bases de datos existentes para el castellano, se estar\u00e1 en condiciones de derivar indicadores tales como resonancia, conectividad, fuerza asociativa, etc., todos ellos correlatos importantes de los efectos que se espera analizar en los experimentos planificados. A la vez, los datos recogidos, al a\u00f1adirse a los ya disponibles, permitir\u00e1n disponer de la mayor base de este tipo existente hasta el momento en cualquier idioma. En segundo lugar, se realizar\u00e1n experimentos en condiciones controladas de laboratorio, donde se investigar\u00e1 el papel del ATL como hub de integraci\u00f3n sem\u00e1ntico y la etapa procesual (codificaci\u00f3n o recuperaci\u00f3n) en la que dicha integraci\u00f3n tiene lugar. Con este fin, se utilizar\u00e1n procedimientos de estimulaci\u00f3n tanto en zonas concretas y relevantes del hemisferio izquierdo como del hemisferio derecho. La propuesta se articula en torno a una presentaci\u00f3n del fundamento te\u00f3rico, el estado actual del conocimiento en este campo, y los hallazgos de investigaci\u00f3n sobre los que se sustenta el plan experimental. Y cada uno de los seis experimentos planteados se presentan caracterizados en detalle en lo que respecta a las hip\u00f3tesis, los aspectos metodol\u00f3gicos y los resultados esperables.<br \/>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\u00bbAbstract\u00bb tab_id=\u00bbabstract\u00bb][vc_column_text]<br \/>\nThe main goal of the Research Project is to empirically test a systematic series of hypotheses about the implication of the anterior temporal lobe (ATL) in semantic processing. In a set of experiments, transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) will be used as a noninvasive technique to temporarily alter brain function, and the Deese-Roediger-McDermott (DRM) experimental paradigm as a procedure for the controlled analysis of the semantic relations established among the words in to-be-studied lists and the mechanisms underlying of semantically-related memory distortions. There will be two series of empirical studies. Firstly, there will be a normative study aimed at increasing the already available free-association database, with the goal of having access to the appropriate semantic materials in the memory experiments. With the lexical information in this database, together with data available in other existing databases for Spanish, it will be possible to obtain indicators such as resonance, connectivity, associative strength, etc., all of them important for understanding the effects that are expected to be analyze in the planned experiments. At the same time, the collected data, when added to the data already available, will allow researchers to gain access to the largest database of this type for any language. Secondly, experiments will be conducted under controlled laboratory conditions, aimed at examining the role of the ATL as a hub for semantic integration, and the processual stage (encoding, retrieval, both) at which this integration takes place. To that end, stimulation procedures will be applied to relevant selected temporal areas, both in the left and in the right hemispheres. The proposal is articulated on the basis of a presentation of theoretical foundations, the state of the art in the field, and recent empirical findings, all of the supporting a concrete experimental plan.
