Specifically, we want to study and analyze problems on Production, Scheduling and Inventory Management, relying on the methodology and the available tools in Operations Research. Thus, mathematical models that can better describe the considered problems will be generated, and then we will characterize the set of solutions by means of either general optimization techniques or through specific algorithms. In those cases in which the search of optimal efficient solutions requires a high computational effort (problems of exponential complexity) we will focus the study on proposing appropriate heuristic methods to obtain good approximate solutions. These models and techniques of resolution of problems help in improving the efficiency and competitiveness of the companies, factories and industries, since by means of its use we try to optimize the management of the resources used in the accomplishment of some activity or service. In all this exposition, the minimization of costs or the maximization of profits are objectives widely wished by the industrial and enterprise sector, considering always the technological, geographical, environmental and social restrictions that can influence the managerial decisions. The concrete objectives that we raise are the following. On one hand, to identify new problems on Scheduling, Production and Inventory Management, characterized by the resources and capacities of the enterprise or industrial sector, evaluating the efficiency of the procedure followed with the purpose of constructing models that will allow us to gain efficiency and competitiveness. And, on the other hand, to design, implement and evaluate new methods for the resolution of these problems, using general optimization techniques as well as specific procedures developed when studying the properties of the analyzed system. Also, we will develop heuristic algorithms in those complex problems where we must consider a great amount of variables and restrictions. Moreover, in many problems of operations research, there is not only a global objective to optimize but also several basic objectives that might get in conflict. In this respect, it is interesting to consider the Multicriteria Decision methodology or the Multiobjective Optimization to analyze and to detect strategies that will report good non-dominated solutions, and to develop measures of efficiency and robustness for all the generated procedures. The expected results of the project will allow the implementation of new methods and algorithms in business and in operational activities related to the management, production, distribution and storage of goods and merchandise.<\/p>\n
[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","programas":[222],"coordinadores":[],"anep":[243],"inventor":[240],"class_list":["post-1165","proyectos-nacionales","type-proyectos-nacionales","status-publish","hentry","programas-excelencia","anep-area-de-matematicas-mtm","inventor-joaquin-sicilia-rodriguez"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyectos-nacionales\/1165","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyectos-nacionales"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/proyectos-nacionales"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyectos-nacionales\/1165\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1169,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyectos-nacionales\/1165\/revisions\/1169"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1165"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"programas","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/programas?post=1165"},{"taxonomy":"coordinadores","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/coordinadores?post=1165"},{"taxonomy":"anep","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/anep?post=1165"},{"taxonomy":"inventor","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/servicios\/otc\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/inventor?post=1165"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
