El principal objetivo de este proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n es avanzar en el conocimiento te\u00f3rico de algunos sistemas y fen\u00f3menos de gran inter\u00e9s en el \u00e1rea de la F\u00edsica At\u00f3mica y Molecular y en \u00e1reas afines como la Nanotecnolog\u00eda y la Biof\u00edsica. Para ello se har\u00e1 uso de las t\u00e9cnicas de simulaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica de esta \u00e1rea de conocimiento y se desarrollar\u00e1n nuevos modelos f\u00edsico-matem\u00e1ticos. Por una parte, abordaremos el estudio te\u00f3rico de sistemas at\u00f3micos como los condesados de Bose-Einstein y sistemas moleculares como los agregados de gases nobles o agua en complejos moleculares basados en carbono y complejos de inclusi\u00f3n de beta-ciclodextrina. Por otra parte, se generalizar\u00e1 el modelo simple de interacci\u00f3n entre caps\u00f3meros ya desarrollado para el estudio del proceso de autoensamblaje de c\u00e1psides virales. Se llevar\u00e1 a cabo tambi\u00e9n un estudio sistem\u00e1tico de las propiedades energ\u00e9ticas, din\u00e1micas y termodin\u00e1micas de todos estos sistemas y fen\u00f3menos tomando siempre como referencia la informaci\u00f3n procendente de los estudios experimentales de los mismos. Con ello se pretende que los nuevos conocimientos tengan un impacto potencial en la comunidad cient\u00edfica y en su posible aplicaci\u00f3n a procesos en la Industria y en la biotecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

The main goal of this research proposal is to enlarge the theoretical knowledge of some systems and phenomena of current interest that can be integrated in the field of Atomic and Molecular Physics and related topics such as Nanotecnology and Biophysics. In order to do so, numerical simulations from this area of Physics will be used and new physical and mathematical models will be developed. On one hand, the theoretical study of atomic systems such as Bose-Einstein condensates and molecular systems such as rare-gas or water clusters in interaction with molecular complexes based on carbon and beta-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes with amino acids will be carried out. On the other hand, a generalization of our simple theoretical model of interaction between capsomers in the study of the self-assembly of virus capsids will be developed. A systematic study of energetic, dynamic and thermodynamic properties of all these systems and phenomena will be performed by having the experimental information available always at hand. Our intention is that the knowledge acquired from this research has an important impact in the scientific community and in some processes of the Industry and the Biotechnology. <\/p>\n
