\nTrabajo de investigaci\u00f3n adscrito a la l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n T\u00e9cnicas y Procedimientos Escult\u00f3ricos de la Universidad de La Laguna (Tres a\u00f1os de duraci\u00f3n). Esta investigaci\u00f3n se plantea como continuaci\u00f3n de un proyecto anterior que lleva por t\u00edtulo Fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica de objetos dise\u00f1ados por ordenador mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n del \u00e1cido polil\u00e1ctico como sustitutivo del moldeado a la cera perdida y se centra, al igual que aquel proyecto, en el desarrollo de nuevos protocolos para la sistematizaci\u00f3n de procesos de fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica que permitan la incorporaci\u00f3n de modelos art\u00edsticos dise\u00f1ados por ordenador. Abordaremos, en esta ocasi\u00f3n, los procesos y herramientas que nos permitan la fundici\u00f3n de micro-esculturas realizadas con fotopol\u00edmero, mediante la impresi\u00f3n 3D por fotopolimeralizaci\u00f3n con luz ultravioleta. La m\u00e1xima resoluci\u00f3n en el menor tama\u00f1o posible, son las pautas que delimitan nuestra investigaci\u00f3n, que propone el desarrollo de protocolos y herramientas adaptadas a las necesidades de la microfusi\u00f3n art\u00edstica. Nuestro proyecto, que se enmarca en el uso de tecnolog\u00edas open source, pretende la progresiva digitalizaci\u00f3n de los procesos tradicionales de fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica, atendiendo a la simplicidad y bajo costo de los procesos de trabajo. Proponiendo alternativas a otras tecnolog\u00edas como la sinterizaci\u00f3n directa sobre metal por l\u00e1ser Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS). Una opci\u00f3n que, por su elevado costo, es inviable en el contexto de la fundici\u00f3n art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

Research project under the line of research Sculpture Techniques and Processes of the University of La Laguna. (Duration: 3 years) This investigation is formulated as a continuation of the previous project entitled \u00ab\u00bbArtistic Casting of objects designed by computer, using polylactic acid as a substitute for lost wax casting.\u00bb\u00bb As well as the former project, it focuses on the development of new protocols to systematize artistic cast processes that allow the use of artistic models designed by computer. In this case we tackle the processes and tools that allow us to cast \u00ab\u00bbmicro-sculptures\u00bb\u00bb made with photopolymers and the use of 3D printing technique of photopolymerization by ultraviolet light. The maximum resolution in conjunction with the smallest possible size are the guidelines that define our research by developing protocols and tools adapted to the needs of the artistic casting. Our project is based in the use of technologies of \u00ab\u00bbOpen Source\u00bb\u00bb and seeks the progressive digitization of traditional art casting processes. As well it is focused on the simplicity and low cost of the creation processes to propose alternatives to other technologies such as \u00ab\u00bbDirect Metal Laser Sintering\u00bb\u00bb (DMLS), which is, due to its high costs, impracticable in the context of artistic casting. <\/p>\n
