Request for certificates

Request for certifications:

  • By coming directly to our premises

  • In the cases described above, the default delivery method is collection of the certificate from the Human Resources Department. If the certificate holder is unable to collect it, another person may do so on their behalf with written authorization. Exceptionally, if you have requested that we send you the certificate, it will be sent via internal mail to your workplace or to the address you have provided.
  • Through the Electronic Administration of the ULL (sede.ull.es) using the procedure of Application for Certifications and Annexes (PAS).

Types of certificates

1) Certificate of services rendered:

  • It is done at the request of the interested party or another administration.
  • Content: name and surname, NIF, scale and center with the start and end dates of each period worked.
  • Common use: to certify periods of service in different positions.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.

2) Certificate of free registration:

  • It is done at the request of the interested party.
  • Content: name and surname, NIF, scale and current center.
  • Guys:
    • In favor of the interested party.
    • In favor of the spouse or partner: You must specify the name of the spouse or partner, providing the family book or certificate of the civil partnership registry for this purpose.
    • For the benefit of children: You must specify the name of your child and provide a photocopy of the family record book and your child's ID. If your child is over 25 years old, you must also provide a sworn statement from the employee declaring that your child lives with and is financially dependent on your parents, and does not receive any income as a self-employed individual.
  • Usual use: to benefit from free tuition at centers of the University of La Laguna.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.

3) Certificate of membership at the University of La Laguna:

  • It is done at the request of the interested party.
  • Content: name and surname, NIF, scale and current center.
  • Common use: to prove membership in the University to another entity, for example, when applying for grants, scholarships, personal loans or mortgages.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.

4) Workplace certificate:

  • It is done at the request of the interested party.

  • Common use: to accredit the workplace at the university before another entity or administration, for example, when requesting the allocation of a school for children.
  • Approximate processing time: 1 to 5 business days.

5) Certificate of having passed selection tests:

  • It is done at the request of the interested party.
  • Content: name and surname, ID number, type of test (competitive examination, competitive examination and merit-based assessment), date of publication of the call and exercises passed.
  • Common use: to certify having passed exercises that are part of a selection process convened by the university.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.

Types of attachments:

1) Annex I (or certification of previous services in another public administration):

  • It is done at the request of the interested party or another administration.
  • Content: Full name, national identity card number, list of previous services performed in the public administration for which there is a record in the PAS service. The start and end dates of each service provided are detailed, along with the total time, broken down into years, months, and days. The employment relationship and level of proportionality within the administration for each service listed are also included.
  • Common use: to provide proof of prior service to a public administration that may be recognized as seniority within that administration. This is usually requested by the applicant when they have obtained a position in another administration and wish for the university to certify the service they have provided there for possible recognition in their own administration for the purpose of seniority bonuses.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.

2) Annex III (or certification of services provided):

  • It is done either on its own initiative or at the request of another administration.
  • Contents: Name and surname, NIF (Spanish National Identity Number), current rank and administrative status, list of services rendered or recognized at the University of La Laguna. The start and end dates are detailed, as well as the rank for each service rendered, along with the total time broken down into years, months, and days.
  • Common use: to ensure that services rendered or recognized at the University of La Laguna are officially recognized and credited to the new administration as seniority for three-year service increments. In other words, with this addendum, the receiving administration receives the credit for the three-year service increments that the civil servant had already accrued in their previous administration. This is typically done when a civil servant obtains a position or assignment at another university or administration.
  • Approximate processing time: 3 to 5 business days.
