Stables and Animal Facility
The Animal Facility of the General Research Support Service (SEGAI) of the University of La Laguna (ULL) aims to provide scientific, instrumental and technical support to research groups of the ULL, to other public bodies and companies in the area of biomedical research that requires the use of experimental animals, in addition to collaborating with the teaching of those university disciplines that request it.
The service has two locations: the Central Animal Facility on the Anchieta Campus and the Animal Facility in the basement of the University Institute of Biomedical Technologies on the Ofra Campus. Each location is registered as a breeding center, supply center, and user center by the competent body of the Government of the Canary Islands in the Register of Livestock Farms of the Canary Islands (Central Animal Facility: ES 38 023 0024514; Animal Facility: E-TF-023-28562).
