General information

  • The University Card is the document that identifies all members of the university community.
  • Allows access to various services such as lending books, or access to ULL parking lots.
  • Their personal data are recorded on the front of the card.
  • On the reverse is the University Identification Number (NIU) which allows, together with a personal key, access multiple ICT services such as information portals, electronic administration, WIFI access, email, among others.

The University Card is available in two formats:

  • format virtual through our APP
  • format physical, although the latter is in disuse and will disappear soon.

How to activate your virtual university card?

You Virtual University Card It can be found in the ULL app. To activate your card:

  1. Access the University Card web application with your ULL username and password.
  2. Click on the “Request Card” button.
  3. Update your academic photo by clicking the “Update Photo” button.
  4. Access the ULL app (after downloading it) by logging in with your ULL username and password, then click on the card icon. You'll be able to log in with your personal card.

It's very easy, and the app will continually improve to give you many new features.

Services offered by the virtual card (APP)

  • Accreditation of being a member of the ULL community
  • Library loans at the ULL libraries
  • Obtaining discounts and various promotions
  •  University Information: Consult all the information about the University of La Laguna (events, news, educational offerings, access, etc.).
  • Private profile: all your personalized information based on your university profile. View your subjects, grades, etc. And also your digital university ID. You'll always have it with you!
  •  University calendar: From the app, you can access your academic calendar and learn about all the university's events.
  • Advantages of being a member of the University of La Laguna: in this section, you can participate in raffles and contests and take advantage of a series of discounts that will allow you to enjoy the best prices on certain services.

Obtaining the physical card

The validity of the card has been extended sine die, so that, regardless of the expiration date indicated on it, it will not expire. Members of the university community who need to request a new card or renew it due to deterioration or loss, can obtain it from the Secretariat of the General Foundation of the University of La Laguna, located at Avenida de la Trinidad, 61 Aulario Torre Profesor Agustín Arévalo, ground floor, Central Campus of the University of La Laguna, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Before requesting your physical card, you must check that your personal data is correctly entered in this web address.

Access to the Parking

If your faculty's staff has a QR code, click on the "Virtual Card" icon and then select the "QR" icon.

Point your camera at the QR code on the parking barrier and the barrier will open.
