Biology Section

The Biology Section of the ULL has an approximate area of 11,000 m²2 , of which 3000 m2 They are dedicated to gardens, outdoor patios and parking lots and the rest of the usable built area is distributed among spaces dedicated to the administration of the center, classrooms, study room and own services.

The facilities of the Section are distributed across several buildings or towers that house classrooms, practical laboratories, computer labs, and departments that teach the various degree programs offered at the center. The main entrance and the center's administrative offices are located on the ground floor, which also serves as a link between the different blocks that make up the Section.

Resources materials

The Biology Department has sufficient and adequate resources and facilities to deliver the Bachelor's Degree in Biology, the Master's Degrees in "Terrestrial Biodiversity and Island Conservation" and "Marine Biology; Biodiversity and Conservation," as well as the Doctoral Program in Biology. The Department regularly reviews the proper functioning and suitability of its resources and spaces, maintains the facilities, and acquires the necessary materials for normal operation.

The following describes, in a general way, the material resources available to the Section that ensure optimal development of the teaching it provides.
