Computer labs

The Mathematics Section has four computer labs with capacity for a total of 90 users:

  • Fermat classroom located on the fourth floor of the white building
  • Galois classroom located on the fifth floor of the white building
  • Student classroom located on the ground floor of the pumpkin building
  • Turing classroom located on the ground floor of the pumpkin building

Normally the Fermat, Student and Turing classrooms are intended exclusively for teaching, while the Galois classroom is used for free use by the student (finishing practicals or typing papers).

Library

The Mathematics and Physics Library It is one of the 15 units that make up the Library of the University of La Laguna and brings together the collections of both faculties.

Its facilities, with a usable area of 690 meters, occupy the right wing on the second floor of the white building, and consist of:

  • Reading room, with 127 seats, which also includes monographs and recent issues of periodicals;
  • Hall, which houses the computers for electronic catalog consultation and internet access, and the counter for managing external loans;
  • Videoconference room, with 16 seats;
  • Four work offices (carrels);
  • Periodicals storage facility.

Special classrooms

  • Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences (248 seats)
  • Graduation Hall on the fourth floor of the white building
  • Graduation Hall on the fifth floor of the white building

Blas Cabrera Auditorium and Graduation Hall

The Blas Cabrera Auditorium at the Faculty of Sciences is located on the 1st floor of the White Building and has a capacity of 248 people. It is equipped with the necessary audiovisual equipment for conferences, faculty meetings, etc. Further information can be found at the following link. Regulations for the use and reservation of the Aula Magna. Likewise, there is a Graduation Hall located on the 4th Floor of the White Building with a capacity for 25 people.

Services

Café

The cafeteria for the Mathematics and Physics Departments is located on the ground floor of the white building. It is open to the public during the academic year from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with reduced hours during holiday periods. In addition to coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, set lunch menus are served between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The price of the set lunch menu is set by the University of La Laguna.

The ULL Student Support Services provide a system of assistance to students in the form of discounts applicable to meals in the ULL dining halls. These discounts are called meal vouchers.

Applications for meal voucher assistance for ULL students can be made through the electronic office (link).

ULL-IMPRIME
The building has 6 network printers from the ULL-IMPRIME service, one on each floor of the white building and one on the ground floor of the pumpkin building.
