The International Inter-University Center for Peace, Mediation, and Coexistence Studies has the following objectives: The scientific and academic development of studies related to peace, mediation, conflict management, and coexistence. To promote and develop activities aimed at implementing specialized training and capacity-building programs in mediation and conflict management, as well as promoting peace, coexistence, tolerance, and the cooperative and constructive resolution of conflicts. To promote social engagement through the coordination, advising, and development of activities and services related to the Center's areas of expertise, and to foster awareness-raising and social and scientific outreach within its sphere of competence, directed at the university community and society at large. To strengthen its presence and institutional relationships, both nationally and internationally, to promote, enhance, and raise awareness of its objectives and activities.
