Goals
General objective
To create a space for meeting, dialogue and collective action based on science around issues of maximum relevance and social projection, related to the processes of globalization and their impact on the development of international migrations and the formation of new citizenships.
Specific objectives
- To create synergies between ULL researchers and international teams to increase the impact of research on the reference topic in general, and to give visibility to the research and critical potential of ULL through the internationalization of degrees and the organization of regular scientific meetings in particular.
- To position the ULL as a benchmark in certain topics and approaches, as well as to contribute to its leadership in the Atlantic knowledge space.
- To configure new spaces for social participation that enable real intervention processes and the activation of all sectors of citizens, through the development of initiatives of shared interest.
- Extend interest in the topics defined above in the academic field, public administration and other entities of interest, creating inter-university networks, agreements and cultural assets of common interest.
- To promote the transfer of knowledge obtained to the economic, social, cultural and institutional spheres, prioritizing the specific commitment of the University of La Laguna to the Canary archipelago.
