Clipchamp Clipchamp is a Microsoft 365 digital tool for video creation. Clipchamp allows you to access this application in your browser, desktop app, or mobile app. Clipchamp allows for video editing, camera recorder, screen recorder, voice recorder, green screen inclusion, video overlay, video trimmer, video cutter, video resizer, video enhancer, audio enhancer, GIF maker, stickers and emojis, audio visualizer, and background removal. Additionally, with Clipchamp, we can use smart tools thanks to Artificial Intelligence, such as automatic subtitles, adding text to speech, resizing videos, speech training, AI video editing, and automatic word generation. The paid version of this tool makes it possible to access royalty-free music, images, and stock videos from the same tool, in addition to adding branding elements. This tool can be used from the version installed on the device or accessed through access to the Microsoft cloud. Clipchamp is available in its extended version for our institution's university community. You must log in with your institutional account to enjoy the extended version.
Example:
A teacher wants to create audiovisual content using a free tool that doesn't require extensive technical knowledge for her subject presentation. Using the same tool, she wants to generate a camera and voice recording and edit it in the same tool. On her computer, she downloads the Clipchamp application to create the complete video.
Faculty members of the same course wish to create an explanatory summary video of less than 10 minutes for each of the syllabi in their shared course. To do so, log in online to the Microsoft 365 platform with your institutional account to enjoy the paid version of this tool and share the generated videos between different faculty accounts.
