Category: Content creation

Description:
Cmaptools
It is a tool for the content creation in the form of diagrams, mind maps, or any other conceptual representation. Cmaptools is a tool for free software and can be used downloading the program on the computer or through its version in the cloud. To create these networks of concepts, relate the nodes of each term to each other through links, allowing each node to include textual information, other links, documents, images, and more. Cmaptools is a tool that's easy to understand but offers a variety of functionalities. When used properly, it can help you learn to relate ideas, concepts, facts, and relationships.

Example:
A History professor asks students to create a concept map explaining a specific historical event. In addition to creating maps, each group must create additional explanatory materials for each of the concepts they add, combining useful resources found online to facilitate their study. Students also create materials such as videos, presentations, additional maps, or infographics linked to the concept map material.

A teacher, to explain the different methodological trends to her students, creates a conceptual material in which she links relevant information to each of the didactic concepts included in her creation.
